Doctrinal Statement
We believe the Bible is 100% infallible, totally inspired by God (2 Peter 1:21), and authoritative in the life of
a Christian (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe God the Father is the creator of all things and a fully divine member of the trinity (Genesis 1:1).
We believe Jesus is the son of God, who is a fully divine member of the trinity (Colossians 1:15-20). We believe Jesus came to earth taking on the form of a man but remaining sinless in order to pay the punishment for sin that all people deserved (John 3:16).
We believe the Holy Spirit is a fully divine member of the trinity who indwells Christians for the purpose of glorifying God through the sanctification of believers (John 16:7-14).
We believe that people are created in the image of God and as such every individual person has inherent value and worth (Genesis 1:27-28).
We believe that all of mankind has been corrupted by sin (Romans 3:23) and it is only through the prompting of the Holy Spirit and work of Jesus on the cross that mankind can be reconciled to God (Ephesians 2:1-10).
We believe that the church consists of the people of God gathered both locally and globally for the purpose of spiritual growth (Hebrews 10:24-25) and making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20).
We believe in the end Jesus is coming to the earth once again, but in contrast to the original incarnation which was marked by humility (Philippians 2:5-11) Jesus’ 2nd coming will be marked by power and glory (Revelation 19:11-16).
We believe that accurate theology is important, but it is not as important as love (1st Corinthians 13:1-3). Christians are known by their love (John 13:35) and love for others is the evidence of understanding God’s love for us (1st John 4:7-12).
